4th Grade Discovery Room Update (September)
The fourth grade students in Mrs. VanDyck’s class learned how to use various tools to monitor changes in freshwater systems (our Eyak Lake). After learning how to collect water in a Niskin bottle, students tested levels of turbidity, dissolved oxygen, pH, phosphates and nitrates. Now that they have all the tools, students are excited to head out to Eyak Lake next month to test the water!
