Accessibility Statement

This is an accessibility statement from Prince William Sound Science Center.

Measures to support accessibility

Prince William Sound Science Center is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all visitors. To support accessibility on pwssc.org, we have implemented the following measures:

  • Embed accessibility throughout our internal policies and procedures.
  • Appoint an accessibility officer to oversee compliance and improvements.
  • Provide ongoing accessibility training for our staff to enhance their awareness and skills.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for improving web accessibility. These guidelines outline three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Pwssc.org is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, meaning that some areas of the site are not fully compliant with the standard.
