Lingering Oil Intertidal Zone download
Earth Day is on April 22, 2017, which coincides with the Science Center’s 28th anniversary. We wanted to highlight and share this drawing that research assistant, Julia McMahon sketched for last year’s Delta Sound Connections. It is a reminder that even though there is an abundance of life in the intertidal zone, lingering oil from the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill still exists under the surface around Prince William Sound.
