Before moving to Cordova, she worked as a Backcountry Field Guide and Wildland Firefighter in the Pacific NW. She is assisting in multiple studies of interactions between Pacific Salmon and Pacific Herring, participating in lake and stream surveys for an adult Sockeye Salmon telemetry project, and identifying marine and freshwater plankton and larval fishes. In her free time, she enjoys Cordova's beautiful scenery while hiking and running with her husband.
