January 28, 2026 – Community Education Night (Anchorage, AK) – 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide an opportunity for researchers to share their work in a community-friendly format that is engaging and exciting. We aim to make science accessible by using clear, simple language and engaging interactive activities. This evening will consist of short presentations in a relaxed setting, with an opportunity to mingle and enjoy easy, guided engagement with the science presented. This is great for teachers, students, experts, community members, or anyone interested in Alaska’s marine environment. The evening will be structured as follows: 

5:30-5:45 Welcome. Brief introduction to CORaL Network. Grab a bite to eat.

6:00-6:15 Researcher 1 research related activities

6:15-6:20 Transition
